Teacher Arrested On Internet Sex Charge

A Lexington man who is a teacher and coach at North Rowan High School is accused of trying to arrange a sexual meeting with a child.

David Lee Berrier the Second faces one count of soliciting a child by computer. He posted a $35,000 bond on Monday.

Police said Berrier traveled to Greensboro on Friday morning after making arrangements to meet for sex with a detective posing online as a 15 year old girl. Berrier was then taken into custody.
