Crack In Car With 3 & 4 Year Olds

Teacher's aide arrested on drug charges


An elementary school teacher's aide was arrested on drug charges this week, according to Bossier City Police Chief Mike Halphen. Officers arrested Plantation Park Elementary School teacher's aide Brondywn Wright, 32, of Bossier City after receving a call about somone who appreared to be smoking drugs in a car with children inside.

The suspected car was stopped near the intersection of Shady Grove Drive and Barksdale Boulevard. Wright was a passenger along with her 3-year-old daughter and 4-year-old niece. Officers located a suspected crack pipe and a small bag of what authorities believed to be cocaine in her purse.

Wright was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine in the presence of childer under age 17, posession of drug paraphernalia and three outstanding bench warrants for failure to appear.
