A fifth-grade teacher at Havana Junior High School will be placed on paid leave today after his arrest Tuesday on charges of criminal sexual assault.

Tony Osing of Havana is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, Havana School Board President Brad Stockham said Wednesday evening. Stockham said he just found out about the investigation.

Stockham said police asked him to let them into the junior high school building Tuesday because they had a search warrant. Osing was arrested later that day.

Osing posted $50,000 bond Wednesday and was released from jail, a jail official said
