C. Fla. teacher found with gun in car
A University High School substitute teacher may be charged after a gun was found in his vehicle on campus today, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office in a report by FLORIDA TODAY news partner WKMG Local 6 News.
Joshua Cummings, 21, was teaching at about 8 a.m. when he was taken into custody after deputies searched his car and found a 9 mm pistol, according to an Orange County sheriff's incident report.
The search was prompted by a parent who called authorities saying that a man driving his car on Rouse Road was scratching his head with a gun. Orange County sheriff's deputies responded and followed the car on campus.
